    WHERE IS SUSAN (SID66)....???

Board members...Will somebody check and see if she jumped out of a forty story building when the markets started doing a rebound...? That said, I now say; most REIT's are now a strong buy because of long term low interest rates and they will have nice growth and great dividends...! For growth and income, investors may want to take a look at AGNC yield 19%, ARR yield 19% pays monthly, RSO yield 18.6%, IVR yield 21%, SDRL yield 10.5%, SFL yield 12%, PETDX yield 21% est., FFC yield 10.5% pays monthly, UVE yield 10.4%, UAN yield 10% est., EVEP yield 6% (this stock is red hot) and etc. My opinion is, that most markets and stocks will remain on shaky ground until early November...Good luck to all...!

    • Never said that Mineta was. Just answered a question. But he probably could have done a better job running GE than your boy Immelt has. And probably could do better advising Obama.

Showing your age old man. Truman appeared to be a stand up guy who didn't blame the other administration. Maybe your guy should take some lessons.

As for the other Republican Presidents that were elected by the people, they must have gotten some independent and Democratic votes, since independents and Democrats greatly outnumber Republicans. Abraham Lincoln was a Republican, but according to you, they are all bad. Just as I said, you're a political hack, probably a union guy who FDR gave a job to in the Depression, now on food stamps, disability, medicare and social security and having the govt pay for your stay at the mental hospital. Wedded to big govt, big spending, big taxing Democrats.

    • ...."G-Loser:

You state Bush's appt of Mineta was window-dressing. Well that is what Obama's appointment of Immelt and his "consultation" with Buffett is -- window-dressing. Even the appointment of Paul Volker was window-dressing, as they have him stuffed away in some low level office. Of course, you won't believe me, but read the WSJ article written several months ago that asked Volker himself what role he had."....

You're beating a dead horse allnuts, Mineta is no Immelt, doofus.

...."<<Keep me out of breadlines>> But in the meantime, the number of people on foodstamps is at an alltime high."...

That's right, allnuts, thanks to the superb mismanagement of our country's finances in 8 short years by the idiot President Bush you voted for.

...."And now striking workers at Verizon get to file for unemployment when they should be using their union to pay them while they are out on strike."....

Again allnuts, caused by the nitwit Bush you stupidly voted for.

...."Keep saying it's all somebody else's fault. But Harry Truman said the buck stops here."...

Now you're talking about a genuine President and leader allnuts not the goof-off you and the other loony Republicans put in office.

Obama had to add some high level corporate execs to his "team" to try to convince investors that he wasn't hostile to business while at the same time his National Labor Relations Board, packed with union cronies, tries to stop Boeing from hiring nonunion workers in South Carolina. Then he calls Buffet to get him to invest in BofA and Buffet responds by hosting a fundraiser. Crony capitalism.

<<Keep me out of breadlines>> But in the meantime, the number of people on foodstamps is at an alltime high. And now striking workers at Verizon get to file for unemployment when they should be using their union to pay them while they are out on strike.

    • ...."Mark, you can't reason with an idiot. I'll bet he's blaming Bush for Obama's plight. Remind Mr. 'Shett' that Bush had 6 out of 8 years of a House and Senate controled by the Dems, who SENT Bush all those spending bills. And now the Democratic hacks are blaming the Tea Party for holding up the country cause they don't want to give Obama a blank check. Obama sucks. And only a foolish idiot would try to make sense of a guy that spends more time on the golf links than Bush ever did. And Perry will be the next President. And NOTHING will be different. Except people like Mr. 'Shett' will find every reason to attack him for no other reason than he's a Republican. Go figure."....

See what I mean folks, the allnuts rat came out of his hole to use mark his alias to defend Bush the worst President in US history. He couldn't go toe to toe with me because he's a mental midget, so he had to supposedly put me on ignore and use his many aliases to counter the FACTS with right wing crap. This one deserves a 4 star Yuk, Yuk Yuk Yuk Yuk

    • ...."Once again, your replies just show you aren't playing with a full deck."....

Jut because I have to keep correcting your on your many bogus FACTS continuously is no reason for you to show your immature ire.

      Here's your questions to me:
<<As one who likes to critique our President's decisions, name me one person of the opposite party that Bush appointed to anything.>>

..."You clearly asked if Bush appointed anyone of the opposite party to anything. I answered Mineta, which was the question asked."....

You must be kidding, that appointment was nothing more than window dressing. The CEO of GE is not window dressing and You know perfectly well what I was alluding to.

..."Unemployment is higher now under Obama."...

Are you kidding or are you sniffin too much of that white stuff. Yuk Yuk We were losing 750,000 jobs a month compliments of the Bushman when Obama took over which translates to a lot more than 9%.

..."Last months, Unemployment rate up since your guy took office, unemployment claims up since your guy took office."...

Well what did you expect when you inherited almost a complete melt down form Bush's idiotic leadership!!

..."Saved the country, by doing what?"...

By keeeping you out of the bread lines.

..."In 2 years, Obama's deficit is 4 trillion, almost as large as Bush's over 8 years."....

More convoluted FACTS from one weened on them. Obama has stopped the bleeding with with a stimulas nearing only $3Tril which is not bad at all considering Bush left office with almost $6Tril, 2TRL going to his fat cats tax cuts, more than a Trillion for the unnecessary Iraqi War, over a Trillion for stupidest drug prescrption plan ever devised, untold Billions in an Afaganistan war that should have been concluded long ago if he did what Obama was only successful in doing, killing Bin Laden.

...."Obama's 4 year total will be close to $6 trillion when he is defeated for re-election."...

He booby, you got to do whatever it takes to undue the horrific disaster Bush saddled us all with in his stupid 8 year leadership, if you can call facetiously call it that. Yuk Yuk

...."What facts? Why don't you post the facts for Obama? Obama"...."

I already have, but It seems you have an aversion to FACTS.

..."How's Obama paying for his deficits?"...

Again your'e not paying attention to the FACTS, airhead. The deficits all belong to Bushy to be paid by future generations like you who voted for the dumb idiot. Yuk Yuk

      Here's your questions to me:
<<As one who likes to critique our President's decisions, name me one person of the opposite party that Bush appointed to anything.>>

You clearly asked if Bush appointed anyone of the opposite party to anything. I answered Mineta, which was the question asked. The question was not "economic advisory committee" and the record clearly shows that.

Now to jobs. I could post the stats from the BLS website but you couldn't understand it even if I did. I just looked at it. Unemployment is higher now under Obama. Last months, so-called "new jobs" are BLS estimates, but you don't even know how that works. Explain the 400k+ weekly unemployment claims week after week. Guess that shovel ready stimulus didn't work as even your guy admitted. Right, direction? Unemployment rate up since your guy took office, unemployment claims up since your guy took office.

On GE, you don't get it again. Look at the chart and see that GE climbed during the Bush, Clinton and Bush I years. Why? because they were able to lever up at GE Capital and invest in a bunch of subprime real estate that almost killed them. Their collapse starts with the financial collapse during which they were bailed out. You probably still think GE depends on light bulbs for profits.

Saved the country, by doing what? Not passing a budget. Passing a stimulus that didn't work? Spending 2 years on Obamacare (and slamming it through without reading it and with no bipartisan support and stealing Medicare funding to pay for it) when we needed attention to the debt problem and jobs.

In 2 years, Obama's deficit is 4 trillion, almost as large as Bush's over 8 years. Obama's 4 year total will be close to $6 trillion when he is defeated for re-election.

What facts? Why don't you post the facts for Obama? Like I said, you are a political hack who ignores bad facts

Obama "saved" 2 union auto companies because he is beholden to unions. Ford didn't need a bailout because they were better managed. And all the foreign auto companies with big plants in this country and nonunion workforces didn't need bailouts.

How's Obama paying for his deficits? Do you want to pretend they are getting paid for?

They need to up your dosage so you stop with the mirages.

    • ...."G-Facts,

..."It was you who asked who Bush put in his cabinet from the opposing party. I gave you the answer"...

Yeah but you gave the wrong answer. The subject was an economic advisory committee not a cabinet member.

..."By the way, how is that economic growth going under this Obama team. Seems to me that GDP has dropped and heading lower."....

Not bad considering the economic mess he inherited from your birdbrain buddy Bush. As usual your FACTS are flawed. The June jobs report came in with 152,000 new jobs and dropped the unemployment rate from 9.2 to 9.1%. Not great, but we've been heading in the right direction since 2009.

..."How's the stock market doing? Great job by that CEO of GE, but what would one expect under his "leadership" since he took over from Jack Welch and had to ask the government for a bailout. Here's the longterm chart on GE (assuming you can read it). Immelt took over from Welch in 2001 when GE was trading over $50. Now it's $15. Great job by that CEO."...

Yea, considering he's had to fight the headwinds of that idiot president Bush's 8 years of disaster, which Welch saw coming and wisely saw the writing on the wall and bailed out.

...."If Bush almost bankrupted the country, then what has Obama done?"....

Oh not much, just saved the country from becoming a banana republic.

...."What was the total debt when Bush left and what is it now?"...

If you were not paying attention to my posts in the past, I'll be more than to give you the bad news. I'll even begin where the debt problem all started started. Reagan the "B" movie star president left us with a $5.7Trillion deficit after his inglorius 8 years. Then we had the bumbling Bush father and son team leaving us with another $5.3Trillion in 12 years. You must really be proud of those numbers, Huh? Oh, by the way, a small note,
Clinton left Bush a $350Billion surplus and no debt. Why do we continue electing Republicans who can't shoot straight??? Must be a lot Madoff suckers out there. Yuk Yuk

...."Seems to me that the debt and deficit have risen under your guy. Bush's worst deficits were in the neighborhood of $400 billion per year: Obama's are over $1 trillion per year (and growing)."....

You have to be an allnuts protege with your wealth of misinformation. Read the true FACTS above for the right answer.

..."I at least admitted to Bush's policy errors."....

The only problem, like allnuts, you can't assimilate FACTS. Bush left office with a $5.7Tril deficit. Look it up.

..."Here's the chart on GM, now under its IPO price.
      http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ta?s=GM&t=1y&... Another great performance.

Paying back their loans???? Do you even listen to yourself? What about the loans that were discharged as part of the bankruptcy. I would hope they can pay now since billions in their previous debt was discharged in the bankruptcy."...

You must be braindead. Obama in the GM Chrysler deal saved the auto industry and millions of auto and auto related jobs in the process.

..."The country understands the inepititude of the current administration, that is why your guy's ratings are where they are.".....

The country is in secure hands and is no longer facing the spectre of an idiot Bush presidency that ran up huge deficits without paying for them. Stick your ratings where the sun don't shine. They're meaningless until we cross the finish line. Bush crossed the finish line like he was back on the hooch again. Yuk Yuk

    • ...Re: A MARKET PULL-BACK....? 25-Aug-11 10:10 am 5 billion is just the start. Buffett is the 'bag man' for the government. Haven't you figured that out yet?"...

Hmmm, sounds like allnuts must have been a former or still is a small time mobster with that "bag man" lingo of his. Yuk Yuk. Too bad he's ignorant of the fact that Warrren is collecting 6% on that $5Bil in preferred he bought from BOA. Like I said with this dolt, allnuts, "NO BRAIN NO PAIN." Yuk Yuk
