    • today.....will be getting to $17.50 area quite soon at the rate it has been dropping for the past week!.......

    • Susan, again with the slams on EVEP. First, on another message board, you claim that it doesn't "earn" enough to cover its distribution. Now you spew this statement, of course, without any proof. Here's a snapshot of EVEP LINE and your favorite BBEP. As you can see, LINE is off more than EVEP.,EVEP,BBEP

Almost all stocks are off as a result of the continuing problems in Europe. The supercommittee failure is just a sideshow as no one really expected them to produce anything. But note, that means we get $1.2 trillion of automatic cuts, until of course, the addicted spenders find their way around that.

The real problem is Europe and the French and German banks. The question is will the ECB eventually print once they replace all the politicians that they don't like. You have to be careful investing because at any time during these downdrafts, they can easily start printing and cause the entire selloff to reverse quickly.

      • durrently down 2.6% while EVEP is now down you have implied that I am shorting some of these stock, which is a claim that cannot be further from the truth...why else would you 'advise' me to be careful investing here as things can change and 'cause the entire sell-off to reverse quickly'.....sounds like a case of SOUR GRAPES TO ME!

      • EVEP certainly deserved the bashing I gave it...As for LINE, i do ot have a postion in it at this people take profits when they are available!!!

By the way LINE is currently down down by the same per-centage as EVEP, not more! And it has NOT fallen 20% in two weeks time and also has almost double the yield!...............LINE is a good buy under $35 not at the recent levels it was trading at..I like to buy low and sell for a decent gain and wait for the next similar cycle!

      • it has been falling for almost 2 weeks now, while many many stocks were doing well..they DO NOT have earnings equivalent to their flow maybe, but not earnings!!!!

Bottom line why buy a stock yielding only 4% when you can get double the % return on many many others.....

Jusst like SFL....down about 4.4% today which is the worst performing stock I have seen today. Cuts you speak of are NOT LIKELY to occur...they are not even set to take effect for OVER A YEAR...and by then the fools in Congress will have either changed or repeal the law......

Keep on dreaming....they markets wtill have a long way to fall, and if you were as smart as you like to show you are here, you would certainly have sold some covered calls when this was much higher to get a little protection....ERF is also falling just as I said it would...only difference is that I posted both there and here thanI closed half of my naked put positions for nice gains when it was over $28......

Strangely enough OLN is down a lot less than most stocks today and I as bring enough to sell the $20 calls with $20 strike price for May at$1.75 about a week ago...this is time for prudence and protection not excuses and arrogance!
