    NYMT and NTI (stock offerings)....!

    Board members...NYMT (yield about 14.6%) is having a new stock offering and I 'will add more shares' to my current total...at this time NYMT has Total Returns of 9.8% YTD...

    NTI (yield about 20%, ???) is also having a new stock offering and I 'will not be adding more shares' to my current total...NTI has Total Returns of about 8% YTD and has 'performed poorly' since I have bought into it (it seems to be having some current downdraft in share price)...! $tagg...!.

    • From what I've read the NTI issue isn't new shares, but rather the parent selling more of their holdings. Consequently, no dilution.

      A related question! I bought more ALDW when it dropped recently; should I move some of that money into NTI seeing as it's nearly an even trade? I hold both already....

    • Board members...'Buyupside' shows a total return of 9.8% YTD on NYMT and 'morningstar' shows a Total Return of 21% YTD on MYMT (which is correct, ???)....I always try to post correct data, but sometimes it is hard to do (???)....! $tagg...!

      • stagg, we use different online calculators at buyupside.
        I get this:
        for the one year, 2012 to 2013 april to april
        using this:
        "Dividend Reinvestment Backtest Calculator"

        ..... I also looked at the finviz chart, which looks good (like an uptrend)......but,

        I think that these are also more interesting:
        WMC, MTGE, IVR & AGNC.
