See the premarket bid and ask with a $3.00 plus spread? Crazy. Wouldn't happen with "Real" Market Makers. Reinstate the 1938 Uptick Rule for short selling, which was sneakily removed on July 6, 2007, and initiated the downfall of our country's economy.
I am not an ammo expert. So, here's the big question...are they buying K.A. Steel to help their chances of winning the Lake City Bid...or does this really have no impact on that part of their business. I know ATK has a pretty strong hold on that plant, but everyone thought the same way about the Redford bid. So does anyone know if this helps?
I don't think so, I believe it is strictly on their chemical side. Olin and BAE systems started a joint venture to be competitive on the lake city bid. They formed US Munitions LLC and that contract should be awarded sometime in october.
