Yeh, it looks like Amazon is trying to develop something like that which Dish is working towards, only transmitting data through a unique method being tested which would essentially be a wifi 4g data network.
I would expect that they are planning to utilize this for their Amazon prime amongst others. Interesting that they are headed toward the same plans as Dish in moving to be at the front of the internet delivery of media, could be quite a combined force.
