Wii Fit has only been out in Japan for a little over a month, but the exercising �game� has already sold 1 million units, according to Japan�s Nikkei business paper. The game released on December 1, and racked up the million in sales by January 6, according to the report. Wii Fit comes packaged with the weight-sensing Wii Balance Board and retails for �8,800, or about $81.
There is no firm US release date for Wii Fit, although it�s expected to arrive sometime in 2008.
Wii Fit can be described as an �exergaming� product that has users performing exercises such as step aerobics, yoga, push-ups and �ski-jumping.� The game also calculates users� BMI (body mass index).
