    MSFT buyout of Nintendo next?

" would just like to say thanks a LOT ellen, etc. for your doom and gloom posts after the earnings report. "Drifting down to the 50's"

Trusting Ellen for advice is akin to asking your garbage man what he thinks of a bull/call spread. Come on Mary. . .

While NTDOY may drift to the 50's it isn't going to be anytime soon.

    • It's easy to lose your mind when you feel responsible for other people's money! I stood firm for a long long time, but yes I was stupid to worry about Ellen. I also read one of the analyst blog things by that bald guy that said Game Over Nintendo and it sent me over the edge. Bad judgement is pressing me to ask your opinion about whether parents can get back in below 68 before it keeps going up due to mario kart and wii fit???? I hope so.

      • I would just make the observation that Nintendo is a stock that moves a lot, so maybe it will be at 50 after a while, maybe at 95; when it gets to one of those places, will it really matter whether your/their stock price basis is different by a couple bucks? I myself have gotten out, gone "oops," and gotten back in.

P.S. You might learn, as I have, that it's generally not a good practice to give stock advice to others; you can feel real bad when it doesn't work out, even though you had the best of intentions. Good luck.

Depending on how diversified your parents are, how old they are and what type of money they are investing into NTODY (play money, retirement money. . .) would squew the answer.

I purchased about a year and a half ago and have traded around the position since. My core position is up nicely. On the other hand, I was expecting the stock to pop on earnings and bought a couple of days before recent earnings and am obvioulsy down.

So. . .I like the stock however would not recommend you getting your parents back in. Technically the stock is poised for a move one way or the other, fundamentally the stock is very positive however the emotion in recommending the trade to your parents isn't worth it if if trades down.

Hell the fed is claiming they are going to cut again. . .we're getting ready to go into a depression with these dumbasses running the show. Their core responsiblity is to control inflation. . .at this point they are failing miserably.
