    Weak Yen+Tax Rebates= Wii win

If I did not already have a wii, I know that's exactly what I would be buying with my free govment money. $600 bucks for a single is plenty to get a console, wii fit, some controllers, and a couple other games. Also, when the new star wars game comes out it will be huge on wii. Imagine using a light saber and throwing guys around with the force on the wii!

And the yen has been falling apart. NTDOY pretty much said they have been waiting for the exchange rate to get more favorable before they start sending more consoles to the states. Looks like the timing is perfect to cash in on those stimulus checks.

    Wii win!

    • I have lost some weight. It has helped me think about posture and flexabilty more because I spend too much time in a chair. Miyamoto is an uber genius.

    • Have you lost any weight yet? I am honestly in the best shape I have ever been thanks to that thing.

    • Not much else to do.
Still no Wii on the shelf here in No. Virginia. The only Wiifit I have ever seen is the one I pre-ordered.

    • Now $73.87 equivalent (63800 yen). Spiking up, but volume decaying. Nice to see something going up, anyway :-)

    • You guys still going on? Anyway, nintendo is up in japan tonight to an equivalent of NTDOY $72.10.

    • You don't even know how the shares you are buying are tied to the parent stock and you call me a moron. You make me laugh. Go "make enough" in the stock market.

    • " Too bad the election and the mortgage meltdown are distracting people *with money* from play things. (All the money is chasing power and cheap real estate.)
If you think it is possible to be a person living without property."

That's got to be one of the dumbest statements I heard in a while. Ignorance must be bliss.

Mr. Codemaster. . .if people "with money" can't afford a $250.00 console they aren’t really making money. . .are they?

My latest play has been DRYS. Drybulk shipping with a recent diversification into deepwater drilling. Take a look putz, it's worth a 6 month to 1 year play from its current value and depending on the global econ in 2010 would be worth of a longer time frame. Besides a genius and crooked CEO the risk reward profile is favorable.

I don't think "people with money" are gobbling up real estate at the moment (competent people aren’t). With more down legs to go it would be asinine to tie up equity in a down trending market. Rental properties sure. . ."property" whatever.

You've gone senile old man. When the computer carnival shut you down your sanity went with it. You should re-release the Game Genie and reminisce the good times. . .moron.

    • I forgot you are not an investor, but a consumer. Too bad the election and the mortgage meltdown are distracting people *with money* from play things. (All the money is chasing power and cheap real estate.)
If you think it is possible to be a person living without property.

Do you simply smoke crack daily or are you really that ignorant?

Looking back over time. . .top game sales (all time). What's that. . .they all belong to Nintendo.

When comparing software sales for Wii, DS, 360, PS3. . .

Nintendo holds the spots 1,3,5,7,8,11,12,15 out of 15.

Come on now putz. Historically management has proven themselves, currently they are dominating the market and have opened gaming to an entire different class.

" In the long run, the management of a company matters more than the products."

Is it suppose to be a negative?

Or did you need to put the crack pipe down?
"Too bad the election and the mortgage meltdown are distracting people from play things. "

You're a joke. . .simply laughable. Probably the reason Nintendo dumped on you. . . good management knew better.

Keep telling yourslef the urine in your cornflakes tastes good.

    • I agree, "Never" is a strong word, so you ought to factor it into your investment decisions. In the long run, the management of a company matters more than the products.
Too bad the election and the mortgage meltdown are distracting people from play things.
