    RT's new ad slogan an improvement?

    "Fresh taste. Fresh place." replaces "Simple Fresh American Dining." Does that get RT where it needs to go?

    • Not at all! Ruby Tueday has been tinkering with their concept for years and it has done nothing but drive away guests! Mediocre menu, mediocre salad bar and expensive drinks are not the way to drive sales! They need to get back to the basics and not TRY to be a higher class casual concept! If they really wanted to be a HQCD concept, then they would remove those eyesores of a salad bar from their restaurants, to start with!

      • Its almost comical now. I went to Ruby Tuesday yesterday to get dinner and the server was pushing PBR beer. As an investor, needless to say I almost fell out of my chair. They should get Brett Favre to do a commercial like Sears did, only it would be Brett deciding what type of restaurant they wanted to be that day. I guess their push to be an upscale dining establishment was about as short lived as their smart eating disaster 5 years ago. I mean you can't just say one day that you are looking for an upscale crowd and turn around 6 months later and start serving canned beer. Here is my new ad slogan, "Bubba's Simple Fresh Casual American Bar and Grill." Now they have all basis covered.
