It’s truly sad that when a Ruby Tuesday manager has major medical issues and will die without a transplant of his liver and kidneys, then corporate turns its back. Furthermore the regional managers Carol and Billy are harassing this manager to get him to quit. I have never seen a company act this way and have to believe that Sandy Bell really is not aware of the issue here in Tampa. This person has been cancelled from the transplant candidate list because he must show that he can afford the drug cost once the transplant occurs. The regular customers are organizing an action to help in the cost and have around 100-200 people interested in helping. This event was planned to be held at Ruby Tuesday and would help business as well. The manager asked his regional managers if the fund raiser being held at RT was ok and was told no that it could not be held there. This is a life or death issue and this manager will die if he doesn’t receive a transplant of his kidneys and liver within this year.
