Comparing notes on dividends
1-The payment date was 8/4 but I did not get paid until 8/6.
2-The published dividend amount is .4625 per share but my broker paid .4525 telling me that 1 cent per share was charged by the transfer agent.
3- The last 2 years the foreign witholding tax was a wopping 35%. This year, there was no witholding for foreign taxes as of today. I know some of you have already talked about 25% foreign tax witholdings.
I use Scottrade. I would welcome any input on your personal situation.
