The only thing we really need to worry about now is whether Adam Yan is just taking investors for a long ride. Hopefully the company sees that increasing the stock price is the best way for them to get rich, and not the slow bleeding of the initial investor capital that they raised 7 years on pet projects to nowhere.
Where is PROFITABILITY? Q3 outlook STILL shows a loss, even though Q over Q sales is projected to be up significantly. This company stock price could easily double overnight, BUT ONLY IF EFUT GETS THEIR ACT TOGETHER and turns the corner to profitability.
Parsley, this is the second time you have mentioned Adam Yan's pet projects to nowhere. Could you be more specific and tell us what projects you refer to? If you refer to the Cloud initiative we are told they are ramping this up including signing up SCA, a large international company doing business in China. Or are you referring to "MyStore" which we are told in the last CC that it is doing well and they have many clients signing up and good feedback? We are told many things in the CC but do they impact the bottom line? Yes, I would like to see results too including profit not just increases in cash flow. Your thoughts on this, thank you.
GDP as expected 7.5% indicating slowdown in economy. General take is the new leaders are reformers and will take the necessary steps (including some tough ones) to rein in abuses in shadow banking and corruption. This is a long term plus for Chinese stocks and the investment community looks favorably upon it. This along with an agreement with the SEC, this past week, by the Chinese Government to provide audit information by U.S. acct firms based in China on U.S. listed Chinese companies is a first step to greater transparency and confidence when investing. Now it is up to Companies such as eFuture to provide more information to shareholders and potential investors regarding company news. There have been no press releases or news of any kind from what I can tell and none regarding some of the initiatives mentioned in the last earnings CC.
