    price after spin off

    does anyone know what price cpb "may" be after the spin off?

    i know the market will still determine alot, but on the financial
    basis of worth, any ideas?

    • Nice work, SundayTrader ! I agree with most everything you say...I bought in two weeks ago at 55 3/4...CPB may drop mildly at spinoff time, but you will see lots of buyers in at that point (and even before) who support the "buy after spin" logic. VFI may not be as horrendous as people say...wait and see. It is not like that stock price will just hit rock bottom.

      CPB's price will start it's rise soon and very soon. I think those who are waiting until the spinoff is a done deal may miss out on a fair bit of growth. We'll see.


    • Can't answer your question "makingdoe". But this stock looking strong. Earnings for last four quarters from 34c to 42c to 58c to 67c announced yesterday; sales flat so earnings came out 1c less than expected. BUT, the CEO's strategic growth plan released today reflects lots of potential. And nice price recovery from today's open. Sure doing well with the advertising initiative also (the three U.S. Olmpic figure skaters). Considering all factors, I bought today! MM-GOOD..MM GOOD!
