Huge Investment In Development & Capacity At Stake
Good Evening, Bonsoir, Guten Abend,
Readers, none of the timorous Wall Street analysts telephonically gathered at yesterday's DuPont Q1 Conference Call, 04-23-13, asked about the highly questionable and grossly expensive Kullman Koolant. Never mind it is effectively barred from use in a third of the global new car market after being renounced by Daimler-Benz, VW, and BMW. Recall that in independent testing last fall, Daimler engineers found the inflammable Kullman Koolant (DuPont/Honeywell HFO1234yf refrigerant for car A/C) could potentially explode into a lethal toxic gas fireball in the event of a serious crash.
DuPont Senior Management is out cheering on the Kullman Koolant. For example, Thierry F. J. Vanlancker, President of DuPont Chemicals & Fluoroproducts," boasts bombastically today to the media,
"DuPont has a high level of confidence that Opteon(TM) YF [Kullman Koolant] can be safely used in vehicle air conditioning and we know that it delivers a wide range of other benefits to automakers, consumers and society,"
Ah, yes, just like DuPont Senior Management praised DuPont Imprelis as "the most advanced turf herbicide in over 40 years", and had "a high level of confidence" extraordinarily toxic, tree-killing Imprelis" is perfectly "environmentally friendly" and "eco-SAFE".
And just like Mr. Vanlancker's own integrity-depleted business segment, Chemicals & Fluoroproducts" insists DuPont's extraordinarily toxic, cancer-causing Teflon chemical C8 or PFOA is perfectly SAFE, has no human health effects, causes nothing!
Investors and consumers and residents around DuPont's decaying plants, when DuPont bosses brag about their "confidence", watch out!
Honeywell executives might want PR boosters for the Kullman Koolant to be a bit more credible than DuPont's mendacious Management.
Merely the evening commentary and opinion of one individual investor and long-time student of the
