Tried to remove the red thumbs-down, apparently you can't; yet another one of Yahoo's message board "improvements".
To the subject at hand: Even if the ObamaCare biz penalties are pushed out, that's just putting off the inevitable, I would think. Won't HON be stuck with huge penalties starting in 2015 for NOT providing health benefits for active employees? I was thinking they'd probably continue on but at much higher premiums -- apparently they chose to get out of the healthcare business altogether. Can't say that I blame them considering the current political environment.
This is strange. I as a retiree out of Morristown lost medical back 3 years ago. We were force to find to find supplimental insurance for Medicare. We selected AARP and have been very pleased so far. Honeywell gave us a health consultant Extend Care to help us make a choice of who to insure with. Found better coverage at half the cost of what Honeywell was charging.
