    Lawsuit update 10 0ct 2013

"The Group confirmed that in its judgement issued on October 7th, the English High Court has determined that CIT may pursue claims against Uni-Pixel Displays Inc. in the English courts for breach of confidence and patent entitlement. Hence, Uni-Pixel would be obliged to pay the majority of CIT's costs of this jurisdiction application."

      • Reply to jkbruder about England enforcement of international laws and or sactions ,. In the late 1970's the N.W.Ayer Advertising was Agency for Debeers Diamonds . The U.S. had several laws on the books about having business people from South Africa come into our country because of the Apartheid . Since we were located in New York At 1345 Ave of the Americas (6thave & 54st)could not have our Clients come to our office in Mid Town Manhattan We Flew to London for our business meetings. The relationship worked that way for more than a decade. Seems a law in one country has no consequences in another country and there are more then 200 independent sovern countries.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • UPDATE: I heard bunch people quit at the CO springs plant. Top management. Says too much inventory laying around!! I also read your post about all UNXL is a piece of plastic stuck on a plastic and that UNXL will never sell NOTHING! So whats your point other than you are wrong???? Go back to your same ole 7 dollar stock and hope it stays there and dont go down to 5 dolla!!

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Tech co's usually have dozens of patents and there's always some litigation going on between them, especially when one starts making $

    • more yawns.....

    • Old news, desperate shorties. I'm sure UNXL isn't worried about this, as they would win(plus have insurance for lawsuits)!

See Chris Hofmann's SA article "Uni-Pixel, Carclo And CES Update" from Jan 9 2013
"The big difference is in the manufacturing process of the two products. Carclo uses a photoimageable catalytic film which relies on UV photolithography to transfer the catalytic ink. Uni-Pixel uses an embossing process which requires a brand new 'Master' template to be created for every new product."

"While both products are additive, the photolithography used by Carclo is not a perfect science and has a significantly lower yield than Uni-Pixel's embossing process. It is also more susceptible to minor errors which can affect performance. Some people would say that photolithography isn't truly additive due to this issue."

This explains why Carclo is so interested in Uni-Pixel's processes. They realize that UniBoss is in fact superior (or, at the very least, cheaper for the same quality). It also explains what is happening right now at CES."

Thanks Chris! That's also why so many short - FUDders here are Atsmell & Carclo lovers. I say old chap...the lads are all mouth & trousers again, mates! Cheers.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • I doubt this had anything to do with the sell off...more likely broader market decline this past week. Speculative stocks have to get hit the worse when people look for safe haven.

    • Maybe that 's part of the reason for the selloff

    • "We are pleased to confirm that in its judgement issued on 7th October 2013, the English High Court has determined that CIT may pursue claims against Uni-Pixel Displays Inc ("Uni-Pixel") in the English courts for breach of confidence and patent entitlement.
