If he responds, will post responses here. I did request a read receipt- should I not get that today, I will call and #$%$ at Reed to find a new IR firm.
Oh, the questions... which I think don't run afoul of Reg FD (except maybe the fourth one):
a) Reed has stated repeatedly that product would ship this quarter. Is that still the company’s position?
b) Reed has stated (forget when) that a press release would be issued when product was shipped. Is that still the case?
c) At one point, Reed stated that Unipixel product would “be on the shelves” this quarter. Still true?
d) Reed stated that, before product went out the door, the sensor design would need to be finalized. What is the status of that effort?
e) What is the current status of the roll-to-roll tester for the TX facility? Last we had heard, I believe it was received and was being installed/configured/tested, etc.
f) There have been a number of items that have delayed shipment of product. Would you or the company be able to clarify approximately how much the timeline was pushed back due to each of the following factors (if at all):
a. The delayed rollout of Windows 8.1
b. The initial lamination problems discovered by the PC OEM
c. The redesign of the sensors by the PC OEM
d. The delays in getting the roll-to-roll tester
Answers that I know for sure.
a) Talked with Reed recently. Still claims they are working diligently to meet the goal of shipping in 4th qtr.
b) No idea. But I think the answer is yes.
c) He didn't say that. He actually said that would be up to the customer. However, Now there is no way a product is on the shelves in 4th qtr.
d) They have had the final deisign for a little while now.
e) It was tested in Minn and was delivered to Lufkin a week or 2 ago. Not sure of the exact status. I believe it is operational now.
f) I never asked. I really don't care. I am focused on the path forward from here.
Eric. I too have called three times and never get a call back so good luck. But I have received email and call from reed. So good luck. Thanks for the post and I look forward to your next post. Tell him to call you back and you will post for all investors. I trust you. You are a professional in my eyes. Good luck to you. Thanks do much for taking care of us longs. Angie
Sentiment: Strong Buy
He can't do anything other than reiterate what the company has said before. Otherwise there will be a PR with any changes.
This is Reed Killion when he says Q4, he means the very tail end of Q4 with a PR possibly falling a few days into Q1. Sit back and relax.
PPS: Where did the thing about lamination issues come from? I don't recall hearing anything that in a CC or from any legit published source... In fact I've heard Killion say twice now that there weren't any in particular.
I'd kinda like to know the answer to the fourth question myself. In fact I went back and listened to CC again the other day and it wasn't completely clear to me that he was talking about the sensor design. He just said the design needed to be finalized. Could have been talking about process design for all I know.
PS: Just a thought but doesn't it sound a little unprofessional to refer to Killion by his first name in business correspondence? ...unless maybe you three are pretty tight.
