The stock has pulled back for a handful of reasons.
-Sales growth has slowed.
-Only 2% wholesale growth for the month of July
-Added expense for the second and third quarter for new distribution surprised many
-Some were even surprised by the expense from the early repayment of debt even though everyone should have seen it coming
-Market averages pulled back 6% while small cap averages pulled back more.
-Although APP has reported sales monthly the negative second quarter numbers for retailers from Macy's to American Eagle have many investors worried.
The next internal catalyst for the stock should be sss for the month of August. If the number is above 5% the stock could start to climb. Personally I would like the numbers to be good, but the stock to stay below 1.65 until the end of September to get the benefit of the change in the value of the options in the quarterly numbers.
