Recent Developments in Reexaminations of Tessera's Patents
All patent claims at issue in this Investigation stand rejected by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ("PTO") in on-going reexamination proceedings. In official actions taken since Respondents' Pre-Hearing Statement was filed and served on February 11,2008, the PTO ruled that all claims of U.S. Patent 5,852,326 ("'326 patent") and U.S. Patent 6,433,419 ("'419 patent") asserted in the 605 Investigation are not patentable because prior art references cited in the reexaminations have "movable" terminals and all other elements of the asserted claims.
The current state of the intrinsic record of the '326 and '419 patents, including the recent rejections by the PTO of all asserted claims, is compelling evidence that the asserted claims - applied as Tessera now contends - are invalid.-

No source, it's a rumor. Could be as early as this week, the result will be different what any of us (including myself) expected. I would rather not go specific on that.
