My email is email@example.com. But don't expect me to be able to answer much. I read web sites and annual reports (and sometimes analyst reports and legal decisions), and listen to conference calls. Beyond that, I have a fan's view of the electronics industry. Tessera is relatively forthcoming about their innovations because they need to find customers; many of their competitors are not, because they expect to use developments in-house.
I have done some editing related to an IEEE standards committee, so I have limited personal knowledge of the pathology of standards bodies. I remember when Kyocera ruled semiconductor packaging, and am tickled that a US company was able to grab dominance back from a Japanese one.
