Closed-end bond funds at discount??
I am trying to find a few closed-end bond funds
trading at significant discounts to NAV. I heard a few
days ago on Nightly Business Report that there are
several such funds, but none were mentioned by name. I am
looking for relatively safe high-yield for a portion of
my retirement account. I prefer funds which invest
in the highest rated debt instruments like US
treasuries, Fannie Mae etc.
I would appreciate any
suggestions on what might be worth considering. Also do you
know of any free Web sites which offer info/research
on closed-end funds. My local paper carries no info
or listings on closed-end funds.
