I entered many other REIT's stock symbols and all of these show a doubling of price within 6 months. I don't think their analysis is worth anything. They are strictly looking at the low PE's and pay no attention to small market cap, rising interest rates, the possibility of a Greenspan recession, low investor interest right now, etc. However, I think NLY is very safe, could go down further, but definitely should not go bankrupt due to their safe way of doing business.
I just finished reading their 10Q thru 31 March, and I have to say, that after completing the long report, I got the feeling that a very trustworthy individual had just finished fully explaining everything he had done, good and bad, hiding nothing and making it easy for me to understand. Its a nice feeling. I haven't bought any right now, as NLY took quite a hit in unrealized cap gain loss due to the last few interest rate hikes. I think this will bring their street price down a bit more...but when interest rates peak, NLY sits near the top of my list!!!
