MeetMe, Inc. Message Board

    Social....You sometimes hate me? Why?

What have I done? I have said all along I am a day trader. I have said all along, don't listen to me... or perhaps listen but think for yourself. I play games in the market like everyone does. I will throw out false bids or offers. In the end, all I do is buy low and sell bounces. Sometimes, I sell early, sometimes I buy early. I rarely care about fundamentals, analysts downgrades or upgrades (this is why I am so mad at myself as I got scared out of NUGT early on some very stupid NEM and ABX downgrades which came right at the bottom and the stocks went green which is the ultimate green light!). Anyway, let's all get along. Even Gio is not a bad guy. He is just relentless on this MEET story. I know he wants it down to buy it but whatever.. there is just so much more action out there I don't understand the fixation on MEET. I will buy some Znga back here. I sold it on that hack story and made 20 cents ( I only had 5,000 shares but not bad). I will try it again.

    • Never confuse an investor with a day trader.
Same difference as the one between a gun toting gang member punk and a Navy Seal.

    • I love you all !!! Let's MEET ;-)

    • Hate is perhaps the wrong word... I like you and admire your trading ability. I was simply referring to last summer as I was long Meet and you would constantly talk it down trying to accumulate lower that's all. Because it was not in my interest I did'nt like it but I never disliked you for your trading.

Gio, on the other hand interrupts strings of conversation and simply attempts to annoy as a strategy.

I made money on Meet and wish the company well. Perhaps they will turn it around. I think they are now in the "same store sales" problem. If they do not show substantial growth in the US no matter what momentary lift there is from over seas they could implode. It's now far to risky for me.
