The DOJ deal may have an input here, since the alleged bribes took place in the UK. Again, no facts here but I suspect other forces are driving the Greg and Crista traveling road show to England.
Everything I hear is that the move is being driven by TAXES, which ammount to BIG BUCKS. Of course, the company is going to dress up the move to avoid problems with US tax officials. However, I still believe that despite the "smoke and mirrors", the move is a PR nightmare.
Taxes? Since when do taxes drive business strategy of a well run company? Since when do taxes drive sales leadership and behavior? Since when do taxes rule an individual's performance, motivation and customer service.
