Here is a serious investment question for the board. As of today, I own about 4.84% of a publically traded company. Sometime in the next few month or two, I may go over 5% and seek a seat on the board of directors.
Do any investors on the board currently hold a seat on the board of directors of a publically traded company? If so, was the company receptive to you having a seat on the board or did they resist your request to have board representation?
Kraptain, yes I'm on the board at Walmart , GE,and Apple , close friends with dearly departed Sam Walton , Jack Welch , aand Bill Gates.Yes they all welcomed me with open arms , no resistance.I used to alternate sunday dinners at each of their houses.....lot of travel time ,but worth it....nice people.....any other questions I might be able to help you with ?
Your Friend Always ,
Slaphap, I was serious about this! Please, I am trying to get a decent discussion going on this board. There are many small and micro-cap stocks that need qualified board directors and a number of them have market caps under $50M.
Please, let's all work together on these kind of issues. Thanks so much.
