I am USUALLY not into penny or risky stock. Cannot complain about ONVO, since I made $11,000 , just out of curiosity , how did YOU find out about this stock? I cannot recall WHICH penny stock promoter brought my attention to it. But it was some of them who sent me an email
I believe it was a SA article a long time ago when the pumping and dumping was happening. Regardless of those silly games, I did a lot of research on the company, met with the management team and asked about their future plans and revenue goals, etc. After our meeting I was very confident in their future and invested - buying in around $5 per share, which seems like a high price when looking at the last 12 months, but I believe it is super low when looking long term. I have 1,000 shares and not saying this will make me rich, but could certainly give a nice added bonus to my pocket long term (maybe my future childrens college education, etc?)
I am a member of the World Future Society...... always searching for the next best technology to invest in for the long-term. Found out about 3D printing stocks in early 2011, did my due diligence and bought in early! Rode thru the split and sold thereafter. Discovered ONVO while reading 3D articles..... Knew immediately this was huge if they could really do what they were saying. Read every article I could find about ONVO...... Used proceeds from DDD to acquire 40K shares. Now holding long for the ride of a lifetime!!! GLTAL
I began researching DDD after hearing about it in several online articles. Shortly afterward, ONVO showed up in related articles. Bought my first chunk in early May 2012, right before the big run up. I sold a portion around $9 and bought more after it fell off the cliff. I don't have a huge amount in it, but it has been a fun ride.
Early May, 2008 I mentioned to a hedge fund trader that Methuselah Foundation was going to start a small targeted investment fund congruent with our mission to significantly extend healthy lifespan. He mentioned a company that was being formed and -kismet- we became the first investor in March 2009. For fun, take a look at the NYSE and Nasdaq conditions for March 2009 :-0
Here's what makes the whole 3D printing business so compelling as far as getting in on the
ground floor--ask 10 people at random who don't follow stocks to the extent that most on here do
if they are even aware there is such a thing as 3D printers. What comes to their minds first is a printer
that produces a hologram type image--2D that looks 3D. Very little of the general public know anything
about it especially what onvo does. I learned about onvo on the TSL solar stock board!
