    Here is the REAL problem.

ABTG does look like it might be doing some large business going forward. I give them credit for this. But their success has very little effect on the stock price. Why? Because they (abtg) do not effectively own the company, Vicis Capitol does. They own at least 84% of Ambient and have warrants outstanding to buy more. So in a nutshell, unless Vicis gives up control of the company by selling their interest, you are effectively buying an interest in VICIS. Those that realize this and have done their due diligence are not buying, and the share price has been stuck for a long time.

Lets face it. With the good PR's of late it should have jumped. Any other stock would have jumped through the roof. We are not going to get much better press than what we have already gotten.

    • Investors have looked at Ambient and did invest which is why PPS is in a pickle imo or perhaps outstanding shares prevents hostile take over of the company.

    • Perhaps it's the outstanding share count that is the problem?

    • Another great PR and no results. Something is fishy.

For the quarter, Ambient reported $12,006,483 in revenue and a gross profit of $5,205,513, compared to $1,683,925 in revenue and $542,887 in gross profit for the same period in 2010.

"The positive performance affords us the opportunity to continue to build our engineering team. said John J. Joyce, President and CEO of Ambient Corporation. "Our backlog at the end of the first quarter was in excess of $50 million.

As we fulfill those commitments, we should continue to improve the financial fundamentals of the company, and continue on the path of healthy growth. We believe the outlook for opportunity in 2011 and into 2012 is very exciting."

        Quarterly Report

Throughout the past five years, Ambient has been a key supplier to Duke Energy's grid efficiency programs, and the leading supplier of the smart grid communications Nodes for their smart grid deployments. During 2008, Ambient received purchase orders from Duke Energy to purchase its X2000 and X-3000 communications Nodes and to license our AmbientNMS, to enable the building out of an intelligent grid/intelligent-metering platform, which generated approximately $14.8 million in revenues throughout 2008 and 2009.

In September 2009, we entered into a long-term agreement, running through 2015 to supply Ambient's X-3100 Node and to license our management software - AmbientNMS for deployment throughout the utility's electric power distribution grid. Since the execution of the agreement, we have generated, through March 31, 2011, approximately $33 million in revenues from the sale of our product.

    • All these great press release's failed to budge it. Market makers know something that we dont.

    • Zap, if everyone was as convinced as you are, I would have no doubts. I would be rich. Not bashing here. Just trying to be real. My question...what is it going to take to get investors looking this direction? No one would be more happy than me to see this take off. If a PPS increase even halfway reflected the increase in revenue, we would all be heading to the bank.

    • no problems here..doubt creating bashers

    • Here's the cold facts. This thing could swing dramatically up or down in a heartbeat. We all know that. A new cotract or a cancellation of orders and it's party or peril. The simple fact is that the 8-9 cent range is dangerous territory.

    • DD will tell that VICIS's pocket book is getting lite. Lawsuit after Lawsuit cost money so something has to give. IMHO

    • Would you buy knowing this?
