At first it seems as though HCN may have overpayed on the purchase based on plain and simple numbers BUT I have faith in this management and I'm sure there is a wealth of info that we are not aware of that will make this venture very profitable in the future. Anybody not pleased with this purchase has probably made money from dividends and capital growth so they should make an exit from this stock and move on. I own a number of Reits and every purchase they make has individuals screaming at management for a number of reasons BUT they soon quiet down when they see an increase in dividends and stock price.
If you don't like the acquisition, then sell. This company has done nothing but grow since I bought into it in 2006. Great dividends plus capital appreciation. Just buy the stock and hold it. Don't get into the trading mode. It isn't that type of stock.
