    • The acquisition is most likely non dilutive to book value and is probably cash flow accretive.

What you probably don't like are the gyrations when offerings and acquisitions are made. Get over it! A reit cannot retain much in earnings and can only grow in the way HCN does.

I've owned this stock since 2000 @ $15 or so and have enjoyed huge distributions over the years. Obviously I'm happy with management and the long term stock performance.

Bottom Line:I think your use of profanity against HCN mgt is totally out of place.

      • At first it seems as though HCN may have overpayed on the purchase based on plain and simple numbers BUT I have faith in this management and I'm sure there is a wealth of info that we are not aware of that will make this venture very profitable in the future.
Anybody not pleased with this purchase has probably made money from dividends and capital growth so they should make an exit from this stock and move on.
I own a number of Reits and every purchase they make has individuals screaming at management for a number of reasons BUT they soon quiet down when they see an increase in dividends and stock price.

    • If you don't like the acquisition, then sell. This company has done nothing but grow since I bought into it in 2006. Great dividends plus capital appreciation. Just buy the stock and hold it. Don't get into the trading mode. It isn't that type of stock.
