    The death of 1,000 cuts

    Having waited to make sure that this one was exhibiting no vital signs, the institutions are now dumping --- because no respectable fund manager wants to be caught with a corpse in their portfolio.

    • if you look at the bids going into the end of the month, you see a good deal of what looks like window dressing, funds throwing around small money to prop this thing up for the end of the month.

      then, like clockwork, the beginning of the month rolls thru, the volume picks up as the funds have printed reports and if they were planning to bolt they are going to try to get out now.

      look for big drops for at least the next few days, with possible acceleration to the downside. its going under 50.
