I have yet to hear an explanation why William E. Begley, the former CFO, left 3 months after being hired.
The new guy is French and 36 years old. He has prior work experience with Arcapita Bank B.S.C.
Arcaptia is a Bahrain based investment bank. They used to be called First Islamic Investment Bank until they changed their name. One of their subsidiaries was Crescent Investments.
Arcaptia is known for adhering to "Sharia Law" principles.
Does anyone know where Lafargue is based? Portland, Australia, UK, Montana? Portand, I would think.
Nothing against young French bean counters but couldn't they have found a bean counter in New England to fill the seat Begley left so mysteriously?-
