    • Yep ... you keep that poker face ... it's worked soooo well for you so far!
The shorts left have much more patients than I did.
Hey ... GHB ... how you holding up honey?
      See ya!

    • Woaa!!!

Well, check again, but closer this time...
The latest SC13G/A (yes, March 08), states for FOUR entities at Barclay.

      Namely:
      BARCLAYS GLOBAL INVESTORS, NA., 943112180
who states it owns 981,304 shares (12.48% of Class)

      and...
      BARCLAYS GLOBAL FUND ADVISORS
      BARCLAYS GLOBAL INVESTORS, LTD
BARCLAYS GLOBAL INVESTORS JAPAN TRUST AND BANKING COMPANY LIMITED
who state that they own nothing.

When you "play the Street", you better know how to read SEC forms,.. and read them carefully, and from top to bottom.
Otherwise, you may end up on the wrong side of the trade :)

So, again, BARCLAYS GLOBAL INVESTORS, NA. has increased its position from 418,289, back in December 05, to 981,304 as of 2/28/06

In other words, they "double down".
Not a good omen for the shorties 35+% of float (as of 2/10/06)...

Are you on the right side of the trade?
      Remember, keep the poker face.

    • Brilliant observation ...
      Why dont folks get it
To paraphrase Almost all trades were sell there was no buying...

      • Are you really that stupid dude ?
Or this is intentionally that you confuse amateurs ?

In case you really do not know...
When you sell share(s), someone buys it.
Noticed that?.. TRANSACTION = SELL + BUY.

Now you can sell a share you already bought.
Then you are a "long" who sell a share.

Or you can sell share(s) that you have not yet bought (only borrowed from "someone" else).
Then you are a "short" who sells share(s).

When you want to sell short, you have two hurdles:
        1) Find "someone" to loan you share(s).
        2) Find "someone else" to sell you share(s) later, so you can return to "someone" the shares you shared in the first place.

FORD is peculiar, as it looks like all the shares that could be sold short have been sold.

      • almost all stocks took the same sort of selling in the last week, even the blue chips. Get another line, backed up with facts, instead of fiction, Freddy... You're reaching Bud, and I think you know it. If boots were a requirement of visiting this board, I'd be in Hip waders. Good for a laugh though...
