Anyone have any videos on this robot with this company? Looks like we are entering the leg feild and getting off tracks. This will open new windows to prostetics and maybe even upright robots.

also im intrested in Millibots if you guys come acrossed this stuff post it please. These feilds show Irobot expanding into new areas of robotics this is big for IRBT.

    • Still . . . no one has robot that you can tell to go to icebox or floor level cooker and get a prepared meal or health drink. Chinese cheapie robots with electrostatic tape on bottom and $1 store whirling brush motor can do light clean-up for a whole lot less $$s cost. IRBT has its hands in its pants and can't make a colloboration call to applliance manufacturers. Wonder why USA is in descending slope/glide to ZeroLand?

Calif. tinFoil hat Makers were already into computerized sex robots design protyping in 1980s. Where is IRBT protypes?

Hill-tribals in Out-Stan will have cheap but effective robot warriors before I-ROT figures out cheapie swarms beat expensive robots that have cute faces.

If your into robot wasteland . . . check out . . . these folks must have in-bre-ed with IRBT unemployed MBA cost-cutters?

Realistically . . . big cuts coming in warrior-land funding for one-role Mil-robotics. USA bumping along in no-growth economy for decade or two? However: also check out for mining robots. Gee . . . IRBT is so multi-appl. research backseat? 'Dystopian Fat-Rats . . . BatMan . . . we is way behind times!' 'Yes . . . Ro-Boy . . . that vacumn sounds is so appropriate.'

Ahh . . . maybe MSFT might buy into IRBT to expand their Windows 8 Kinect appls. Afterall, they dropped couple of Mil$s on B&Noble today. Room-BaHa is their R&D project homeland security robot with a sensor-pak on it that connects to your twitter-phone. You can watch the cat mark his territory while you have a special car talk moment? Ohh . . . we can't patent anything anymore! Those Makers are just so clever and fast mod-ing our little room vacs. Those dirty boy hackercrackers!

      • haha i agree with other companys may have better products... Other bomb squad robots are heavy IRBT produces lighter robots which are more mobile. You have to think they work with DARPA their not out of the game yet.

Im more impressed with their software and I feel they could make more money if the focus on that aspect of robotics.

Floor cleaning was profitable so why should they stop? If it ceases to make profit they will cut it and move on. Profit is profit there are alot of companys not making money right now.

People will pay more for better looking Robots... its the same as shoes clothes etc. Human nature shoot make the exact same product and have one low priced and the other higher. Some will buy the higher because they feel its more elite or exclusive.

Yes their not perfect... A little luck in a break through for them will send them far in share prices. I can see a 1B market cap for this company in the longterm future.
