      • What is wrong with a group of diverse directors who want to keep the bank a community, small town bank, serving customers
with local people who are involved in the community and civic affairs. In our little town we have seen many take-overs, with out of town owners who don't care anything about the citizens of the town. If everybody sells out
to the big, out of town boys, who is going to
support the Boys Club, United Fund, Community
Foundation, 4H Club and Fairs, High School
Bands and Pride teams, and College Athletic Programs. You can bet your sweet ASS that WALMART, Sears, Penneys, CVS, Burger King, McDonalds, Car Quest and these out of town Banks won't.

What is so wrong with being a small community bank with people working there who have lived all their lives in the community, serve on Church Boards, School boards, County Council, Little league as baseball coaches, PTA members, hospital guild members, service club members, United Fund workers, Country Club Members, Chamber of Commerce Presidents, Economical Development boards and good citizens who care about their community.

Maybe, just maybe, the Board of Directors of UCBC care about what is happening in their home town and want to keep it a nice place to raise a family and live.
