In my humble, yet honest opinion, I believe that age discrimination is a more prevalent abuse than racial discrimination at Lilly. It is extremely difficult to prove since it is hidden and the corporation is protected by the performance management process. If one fights through the formal grievance process, you may be walked out of the Company without a written report of the findings of the grievance committee after greater than 20 years of service to the corporation. Just my thoughts . . .
I am not sure what is worse. Age discrimination or bullying their way in stealing intellectual property from a small company like Emisphere Technologies. Unethical mangement no matter how you look at it.
The shareholders should do it do ST's PM - but the board et al hold sway .. too convenient by half IMHO . I'm VERY glad the vote went against them at the last AGM. Obviously my proxy vote won the day :-))
