    Fear mongering

Thank the good Lord we averted a "crisis" when we passed the debt ceiling! Just think what the market would have done if we hadn't passed it. Down between 500-1000 points, mass panic in stocks and bonds, retirement losses of over 5% of portfolio's. What? The debt ceiling DID pass? And this still is happening? Could we be seeing panic selling brought on by hyperbolic media reports? Could there be an attempt to manipulate the market by portfolio managers who could grab more shares like Lilly BEFORE the dividend payment? Call me too cynical but I am buying more shares now. As Eddie Murphy stated in "Trading Places" "This should clear out all of the suckers!"
