It's going to be ugly at the open today

S&P futures are "limit down" and then some
in pre-open trading. Last I heard was 14 pts.
down. Each point roughly translates into
a little less than 10 points on the DOW, so
look for the marktet to open down bigtime
this morning. Asia still controlling the
situation. Large securities firm in Hong Kong
went under last night after market closed.

There are going to be some buying opportunities
for high quality stocks for those with a cool
    head and a little patience.

    • Mama said there'd be days like this! The Dow wasn't down as much as I thought it would be, but it seems like everything I own is getting hammered. Lucky I don't need my retirement money for a few more decades! It sure does sting though!

      • If you want make money, you should buy the stock that I sell and sell the stock I buy.
At least in the shore term.

      • it didn't end up too bad. wish it would have dumped some more though. it might tomorrow. i was expecting another big drop and almost started buying at midmorning, but waited. too late for a great buy on cat, but tomorrow is another day. this is a great market for the day traders, and will give some excellent buys for the long term investors too.

do get worried if it goes down. like i said yesterday 7350-7400's is a realistic goal. then it will shoot up to 8600-8700's by early summer. just jump at the right time and you will make good money. take a couple of quick hops and you'll make even more. good luck.
