IT is obvious to me that there are consumers who want a cellphone to talk and text but are not interested in the internet and gimicks....thus $25 a month is a bargain and selling well!! I have the metropcs $25 plan with the Huawei $50 qwerty phone (barstyle) and it works GREAT. I also have a LG optimus smartphone NOT connected to a cellular service but via WIFI I can get internet from Cablevision who I have for tv & internet at home @ $30 a month..another bargain! So I have internet at home and outside via WIFI plus unlimited talk & text with directions & maps--all this for $55 a month...BARGAIN!!! PCS is a BUY BUY BUY !!!!!!
even their "4G" is absolute bull crap. Not only do they have the worst phones, it only works on their $70 plan. Consumers who pay $70 have way more better options than Metro garbage. They need to sell this sinking ship fast before they become the next Titanic.
T-Mobile would... They need up the number of customers. PCS WOULD DO EXACTLY THAT. If they acquire PCS, then TMobile would be right up there in competition with Sprint for the leaders in pre paid accounts.
You not so smart.... would make perfect sense.. new cdma network for PCS users... would fit perfectly...Users are migrating to the 4g network at rapid pace so its a mute point.... if you think PCS has done well with a 1x network, wait till you see the 4g and voice over LTE in action... and a 3g evdo to back that up...
