T-Mobile Store Manager said Metro PCS customers have bad credit.
The T-Mobile Store Manager said Metro PCS customers have bad credit. Is this true? I am personally opposed to the acquisition because I think it is bad for consumers. If this deal goes through, I think prices will rise, because T-Mobile seems positioned to lose market share, solely due to their pricing position. Metro PCS has the lowest prices and is taking market share from T-Mobile, IMO. I believe the Metro PCS rates will go up, and an opening will occur for the next low cost mobile provider.
The T-Mobile store manager wouldn't know MetroPCS customer's credit info because MetroPCS doesn't ask for credit info- they are a pre-paid service. So yes, "bad credit" customer's use MetroPCS service just like "bad credit" customers sign up for T-Mobile's pre-paid service. They are no different, hence the pending tie-up.
