ePlus inc. Message Board

ePlus' new look website is most impressive.

For investors, the "News and Events" section, in particular the "In the News," subsection, lists numerous articles referencing ePlus.

If you don't understand ePlus' business, and I believe most people do not, the website provides substantial insight.

    Check it out.

    • I finally checked it out. What I like is that they are finally keeping News and Events current.

What confuses me is under IT Products and Services. Under Professional Services they indicate they offer Staff Augmentation and Desktop Services. (Thats what I do)

This appears to be away from their core business. While there is potential for higher margins in this busines, my experience has seen very few companies able to parlay Professional Services with their core business.

But overall the new Web Site looks good.

    • I noticed that the term "baserenderer" can be found in most of the URLs throughout the new eplus website. I can't recall ever seeing this type of URL before. I plugged in "baserenderer web page" into google and was surprised by the results.

      replace XXXX with .com

Baserendering technology is a sunmicrosystems java tool. What surprised me even more is that ePlus seems to be the only website picked out by Google for using "baserenderer" in the url.

I've created a webpage or two using old fashioned HTML tech and some primitive java scripts, but I don't have the knowledge to understand the technology of ePlus's website.

Does anyone on this board have a better grasp?

Have you noticed how fast and effortlessly the website's pages load?
