It is time for the CEOs of IT staffing companies to put their egos out the door and start merger activity. Only by reducing the high overhead of overpaid executives and streamlining operations can this group hope to survive.
Sitting on the sidelines and praying is NOT the answer.
Most of these companies have lost all their sales talent believing that hanging a technical shingle out will bring the world to your door. Sorry it just do not happen like that.
A good sign would be for the top execs to take major compensation cuts to demonstrate awareness that they are causing the problem.
