I can say that we have had attrition, but so what. Some of these sales reps think they don't have to be in the office. They party with customers, play golf, eat lunch on RCM's tab, and always seem to be on the road.
I show up everyday in the office and do my job! I may not be in sales but certainly know that being in the office, by me showing up daily, is the most important thing I can do-no matter if I play on the internet all day or work hard-I'm in the office!
The fact that some sales reps think partying and golfing with other company's employees is OK is ludicrous to me. It seems that these sales people have it above us that are in the office 8 hours a day, showing are face even if sometimes I want to just go home. I have seen expense reports over 300 dollars and most was booze with one of their accounts, or sometimes not even a customer but a potential customer. If I have to be in the office, so should everybody else. I call it being a responsible team member!!
So tell your AE sales friend who probably got fired (probably for not being in the office) that he/she is the problem.
You can't be serious. Nevermind, I know you're serious.
One thing I hated about that place was the silence. Well, until people started raising their voice so Mr Project Mgr (who in my opinion is miserable and looked like he was going to crack) could hear you people's voice and think you were actually doing something. What is that???LOL!
The place reminds me of a morgue. To the sales guys, this is not normal.
