    • no, its because of their S-8 filing for their stock option plan, the 700,000 shares max offering price is $6.82.

thats why stock tanked. look where it closed, just under offering price.

      • What in the world are you talking about? What S8? What maximum share price? Your comment makes no sense.

For those who have followed this stock this recent drop should not surprise anyone as it follws the same pattern that has existed for years. Volume and prices randomly spike for no apparent reason and then volume randonly dries up and the price tanks for no apparent reason. It's a constant cycle with this thinly traded low float stock. The stock price on any given day does not necessarily (or even very often) reflect its real value. It is possible they will have a bad Q3 but unlikely as there is no warning. Go figure.

      • Stockman:

You obviously don't understand what you are reading. The Form S-8 you refer to was filed on September 6, 2007 - almost two months ago. The purpose of this filing is to register shares under the recently approved 2007 Stock Option Plan. The Plan was approved at the last shareholders meeting (I want to say in June but I don't know the exact date). That filing is most certainly not the cause of the recent decline in stock.

The $6.82 "Proposed Maximum Aggregate Price Per Unit" has the following footnote if you bothered to read it:

Estimated solely for the purpose of calculating the registration fee pursuant to Rule 457(h) of the Securities Act of 1933, based on the average of the high and low prices of the common stock on the NASDAQ Global Market on August 30, 2007.

So the $6.82 represents the midpoint of the high and low trading price on August 31, 2007. When a company files something with the SEC they have to pay a filing fee. That filing fee is dependent at least in part on the share price. There is no other significance to this number. In fact the stock has traded well above this price since September 6th, trading mostly in the high 7s or low 8s for most of the month October (well after this meaningless filing).

        Any other brilliant theories stockman?
