it's very smart actually ... they drop the price to make you long believe that the sky is falling and there's bad news coming afterhours ... this way you'll sell them your shares at a low price and they're right there to pick those shares up from you and all the other scared longs. I added a few more hundred shares.
This is one reason I'm not so excited about more institutional buying. Yes, they would buy larger blocks and increase our volume, but at the same time they have no problem loaning out shares to the shorts either. Imagine if 90% were held by individuals who refused to loan shares.
