RRC is way too pumped up and nothing is supporting it. Once the hedges are gone business will be losing money. Also, if Romney wins, he will discount leases and will offer leases to competition at cheap rates. No reason to spend $10BIL for this.
Price of NAT gas will stay down for a while, as long as we have almost max in storage. In addition, Oil will come down as well.
RRC NPV will come down substantially in calculation and so will the stock price.
Well if there is buyout speculation I can assure you then someone out there noting value. Also how would Romney control private land leases? Also nat gas is building a strong floor here now. The intrinsic value is in place.
