Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) Message Board

    Yahoo has done it again.

In July, Yahoo's vaunted beta format sabotaged the message boards.

    1. Yahoo obfuscated post numbers in such a way that a single post can have umpteen ID numbers, or no ID number whatsoever, depending on whether you have read it individually OR while sequencing from post to post AND depending on which direction you were sequencing in AND depending on whether a blocked (by your blackballing star-rating system) post is in the sequence AND depending on where in the sequence you began reading.

    2. Yahoo obfuscated who was replying to whom.

    3. Yahoo obfuscated threads in such a way that those trying to follow a long thread can get hopelessly lost in its labyrinth.

    4. Yahoo obfuscated newer posts' timeline ("X minutes ago").

Those obfuscations not being enough, Yahoo has NOW obfuscated what message boards we are reading and posting in! Instead of a YHOO post's URL containing the identifying "Technology/Computer_Services/," that ID now reads "Stocks_%28A_to_Z%29/Stocks_A/"!!!

And so are EVERY SINGLE OTHER Yahoo message board's posts identified by "Stocks_%28A_to_Z%29/Stocks_Y/"!!!

And look at the top of the message list page. Its URL is now:

Doesn't that enormously help a message board surfer?
