    • Sell this dog. Dead money for the next year.

    • I don't know if they'll conduct a "do-over" because of the voting irregularities.

      A few of the news links that I read pertaining to the problems had many people mention not receiving the ballot until after the voting took place. I'd be willing to bet that was intentional.

      There was a humorous piece on All Things Digital comparing the Yahoo shareholder vote to the Florida recount complete with Katerine Harris. She does look like she'd fit right in at Yahoo, doesn't she?

      The author likened Yahoo's problems as having a voodoo curse on the company. ;)

    • If what you say is true, Yang and Yhoo are going to have some explaining to do. It might also explain why Yang caved and gave Icahn three seats on the board. Since a large institutional investor filed the claim, I had a feeling there was going to be some merit to it. Even if you are long and presently sitting out of the money, the intrigue associated with this company has proven entertaining. Let's hope the end result rewards investors.
      ======
      It is true. The news is all over this morning about the recount showing that Yang only had 66% support instead of the 80% first reported. Slight mistake was made in tallying the votes by truncating a digit from the votes against Yang. I'm sure it was not intentional. ;)

      Bostock received only 60% and Burkle 62%. It would seem that there was a huge vote of 'no confidence' in the management team, and nothing yet has been done to rectify those votes that didn't get counted because Yahoo got out the ballots post meeting. Those folks that voted the yellow ballots in support of Icahn's slate, had their votes discounted, but many didn't receive the new ballots or word of the discounting until after the vote took place.

      I'm fairly certain that was intentional. Yahoo is quite the despicable company, I'm learning in my dealings with them.

    • the youth of the world- no moral compass-no ethics, no basis in historical reality-

      having large blobs of money does not equal intelligence or business acumen. (witness yang doodler)

    • Wish I had shares just so that I could attend the meeting.

    • unbeknownst to the world, yang skips town after swapping new identity/life with william hung. at the meeting, the "new" yang would answer each question in song, "she bangs, she bangs..."

      half way across the world, "william hung" is seen in a private jet, answering all questions with "I rich, I american idol".
