Let me tell you a story of transparency and greed....
Once a farmer owns a chicken that lays golden eggs. He is so happy and take the golden eggs to the market and sell them. One day people find out his secret and everyone wants golden egg. But chicken only can lay so many golden egg at one day. Some people came up with idea that he should cut open the chicken so they can find the secret of chicken laying golden eggs. Finally their greed makes him did it.
You all know the result. No more golden eggs for the farmer or anyone else.
Too much transparency sometimes can hurt. Don't be greedy.
so the best argument you can come up with, is to make up a fairy tale? doesn't that suggest you might want to rethink your position?
i have a fairy tale for you. once upon a time there was a corporation, and that corporation made lots of money, so its stock sold for a whole lot of money. but management was lying about the profits, so the people who bought enron stock, lost everything. the end.
a couple gold eggs that didn't really exist, versus tens of billions of dollars that did.
