LMAO ever hear of the Nokia Lumia series? The popular 920 version released, 2mos. ago, that people seem to love? MSFT has staked BILLIONS into mobile and their Surface tablet is to take on the Ipads and Kindle Fires of the world. Their OS is in bed with Nokia as they scrapped the Symbian OS and could buy RIMM should the BB10 be hot this year. Considering Yahoo disbanded its mobile group under Bartz and is only now putting it back together under Marissa its a pretty poor reason. Can you give me Yahoo's mobile growth rates? How much does it add to the bottom line? Remember 1/3rd is investment income, 1/3rd is search already handled by MSFT and 1/3rd is display ads at which point a tiny portion of that is served to a mobile user.
Aaple and Samsung are the mobile phones, the rest are just biding their time. The surface has insignificant sales, Nokia will or Rimm will not be enough for msft. Everything will be mobile and tv. Kids born this year won't know what a pc is. Watch and learn as you have been on the stubbornly losing side.
