Go back to Office and Dk'd Off The Old Fashion Ways

Go blow an hour every day BS'ing, make it look like you are super busy, take those long lunch breaks, show up late due to traffic, working in an office is carte blanche to screw off in front of the bosses, lets hear it for those workers that can now quit giving the company anything extra without be compensate, management knows your productivity will go down once you start working in the office, so do your part for America, cause your company will have to hire more people to get the same amount of work done.

    • The new Yahoo homepage is terrible. Once it fully sinks in that you can't change back to the old style, page hits will drop through the floor. Infinite scroll (i.e. no editorial control) and cartoony theme is a bad dream.

    • It is just my opinion, but it looks like somebody got a control freak CEO. Does the blonde REALLY think that all of Yahoo's issues can be solved by having people go into the office? Limiting your employment base to California? Yahoo and anyone with half of a brain needs to realize that they are stronger when your staff can work from anywhere. Ideas and creativity will not flow until freedom is encouraged from the top layers of management.

IMHO, the blonde has just given YAHOO a death nail.

      • Make no mistake, MS Mayer understands exactly what she is doing...she needs to shed labor costs without announcing to the world that the company needs to shed labor costs to improve the bottom line ('cuz you know creative developments ain't gonna be happening). She is fully aware from her decades at Google what the creative mind-set work force needs/wants. She just figures that at this stage in Yahoo's life profitability growth is more important than the "next big thing".

However, in the end she may get neither.
