As I have said *VOLUME* is *KEY*

During that entire 2-week long YHOO selloff the
daily volume everyday down was much less than average
and in some cases not even half the daily average! I
knew a big UP day like today was only a matter of time
-- a little more time than was comfortable but
congrats to those who held or bought more because they
believe in Yahoo! So there we have it: almost 11,000,000
to the upside today, more than average
    volume.

I am looking for YHOO to get back to 190-200 range
almost immediately this week -- that's where it belongs.
They also need to split the stock again because it's
getting to high and the increased liquidity will
    help.

You guys calling YHOO for 125 or 100 are S.O.L.

    • Hey, Nasdaq_Trader, I totally agree with you on
the volume concept. I think the low volume phenomenon
was common with the majority of the net stocks until
yesterday. They have too much upside potential compared to
the majority of other stocks out there. I'm hoping
that YHOO will announce a split also. More positive
news will keep it moving higher. There are rumors
flying around now that YHOO might be a potential suitor
for LCOS, which would doube YHOO's customer base.
That would easily put YHOO over 200 and a split would
be inevitable. Hopefully the rumors come true, only
      time will tell.

      • foolish to buy lcos. Why buy lcos? Neither it's a
leader nor profitable. Just because of eyeballs?

        Yahoo network:Yhoo+bcst+gcty:50+ millions v.s. lycos

        SO, who has more visitors?
        YAHOO is the clear WINNER.
        Besides, the companies
YAHOO bought/will buy are always leaders.
        Moreover,
SoftBank won't allow YAHOO to make such a STUPID move.

        2.
Lycos' audience reach is not for real; weak brand
        3.
        lycos management is crapped

        Yahoo will fly with
        bcst/gcty/ckfr.
        Yahoo management is so SMART!
